vintage dress, marc by marc jacobs aviators, alex and ani necklace from gilt, old Frye sandals

I found this dress at a random thrift shop on our way home from Mendocino and wore it to venture to our first stop in Costa Rica, the Arenal Volcano. We repelled down waterfalls, relaxed in the heaven-on-earth hot springs at our hotel, the Tabacon Grand Spa & Resort, and survived a less than ideal bout of plane food poisening.

  2. pretty! I did love santa teresa/play del carmen/mal pais!! It was one of the most beautiful places I saw, but I gotta admit I liked Montezuma better because it was more hippie, less surf and I don't surf (yet). The ocean was so turbulent and rocky (perfect for surfing) that I couldn't swim! But the vibe was amazing. I need to upload photos!! Yours are amazing! I wanted to do the hot springs soooo badly but that hotel was booked up!
