universal studios & the winna

Some people may think Universal Studios is the red headed step child of theme parks, but to me, it is supremely underrated and I just love it. I was a little jarred to see that ET has become The Mummy and Back to the Future is now The Simpsons ride, but as it turns out, they were all great changes!

I was horrified to see similar tops in the trendy LA boutiques for upwards of $200 so when I was driving and saw this yellow number hanging from the side of the road in Topanga Canyon I instantly pulled over and for under $40.

  8. Gorgeous yellow top! So lovely on you and even more special because you got such a great bargain on it. :)

And yay for Universal Studios! I used to go there all the time as a kid when I lived in Tampa (nearby Orlando). I'm a little dismayed about the changes you mentioned. I adored that ET ride. A little piece of my childhood is gone now, I suppose. Sigh. Ah well. I will have to take a trip back to Universal Studios soon so I can ride the new rides. The Simpsons one sounds fun! :)

  11. Hi, in my photo class we learned a l about shooting in manual. aperture, shutter speed, iso etc. Peter is super nice. He poured a glass of wine for all of us the second we got there and answered all our questions and he's very talented. My only problem with the class was how unorganized it was. He basically would just talk and we would ask questions and then we'd take pictures inside and outside. It was quite expensive $225 and I don't know if that was worth it for me because I had already been taking pictures for awhile I just didn't know what aperture , shutter speed and iso meant.
I've heard nicole Hills classes are really good but I think she's only doing one for in person class in san francisco.
I think we were one of Peters first classes so maybe hes made more of a list of what to teach now?

  12. Did you by chance see the couple selling clothes on the side of the road in Topanga that had a sign that said "help support our marriage!" this weekend? Their selection was limited to hawaiian shirts and giant peace signs made out of twigs haha. So Topanga Canyon.
