full force

I added seven brand new items to my shop and I'm so proud of how all the pieces turned out. This is the most I've added to my shop at one time so far and I feel like I'm gaining a lot of momentum. I had three sales yesterday alone! Jasper Winona necklace: Green Turquoise and Gunmetal Kristin necklace: Agate Amber necklace: Ariella Star necklace: Into The Blue Kate necklace:
now for earrings
Turquoise Zoe earrings: She Sells Sea Shells earrings: Now I'd like some advice. I definitely haven't pinpointed a certain look or way I'm going to photograph the jewelry so tell me, when you're shopping for jewelry how do you prefer to see the pieces? Do you want to see them on a person or would you be equally happy seeing them on a dress form? What about if the pieces are laying on a table or other surface?

  2. i think in order to catch the persons eye you should have a pic of the best part of the jewelry on a hardwood floor or marble like youv done before (in regards to yer etsy), then when they get interested they can click on it and see how the jewlery looks on some1. catch thier eye with a very detailed shot-N

  3. ur pieces are beautiful! i love, love the first and third necklaces. perhaps a combination of both types of pictures would be great. i love seeing the jewelry up close on its own. at the same time, i also like to see how it looks modeled on a person. for me, it's a great way to see how long/short or how large the pieces are relative to the model. just stumbled upon ur blog today, great blog!:)

  4. Gorgeous jewelry!! I love to see jewelry laid out on a simple surface so that the jewelry shines on its own, then followed by less dominating or important images of someone wearing it. Keep up the beautiful work.

  7. ok maybe im the only one that thinks this but if you really wanna go all out you have to give a customer the whole look!
imprefer to see it on a really cute girl with style!
so not only will you have amazing photography images on your blog/etsy but itll make the customer think "wow she looks amazing i wanna wear that necklace like that"
(then maybe have a close up shot on the side)

does that make sense? hope this helps.
