I have always avoided Outside Lands because generally I don't like large crowds, being cold, or having difficulty getting to/from places (like trying to get a cab on NYE), but this year I decided to give it a try on Saturday. I totally proved myself wrong and loved it! It just goes to show you never really know until you try and it felt good to surprise myself.
Beyond catching a lot of great new-to-me music (the Yeah Yeah Yeah's were a highlight- Karen O is a bad ass and amazing live) they had great cocktails (Tito's vodka mules) and gourmet food (vegan sausage and wood fire pizza). Add in some dancing with your friends and it was an all around awesome day.
Sounds like my perfect day! You look amazing in red!
