art shmart
I've long considered beautifully made clothing an art form, but I've especially been loving clothing as a more literal translation of art. I love these Mary Katrantzou dresses that look less like your repetitive, garden-variety print and more like a piece of art hanging in a museum has been reinterpreted as a dress. "Nouvou-surrealist alchemy" if you will. Just kidding, that's not my phrase, it's in the description of the dress and whoever came up with that deserves a gold star.
Also really been diggin' all the comic-art inspired fashion out there lately by the likes of Phillip Lim and co. Snagged this necklace, but more on that later.
amazing dresses!love them :)
