I had my dad ship my old closet contents to me so I could sift through the clothes of my mom's I salvaged from her closet. It had been 6 years since I had set eyes on any of it. There were 4 big boxes and I was cursing my dad as I was lugging them up my stairs because the boxes were so heavy I thought there was no way it could be her clothes. I was wrong-it was all clothes. It was so amazing seeing them again and I was so happy with what I had saved. This slip dress is my first piece of hers I wore. The perfect basic black slip dress. She had a lot of silky dresses and if she liked something, she'd buy it in multiple colors. If all of us could be so lucky.
