sushi in santa monica

{seared albacore with crispy onions}
{seared tuna}
{spicy tuna on rice cakes}

{yellowtail with diced chiles on rice cakes}

Sushi Roku is my go-to for sushi in Santa Monica. They have a "Japanese Pub," Robata bar, right next door so we headed there to take advantage of the $5 happy hour menu and equally cool atmosphere. My favorite part about sushi in LA is that you can find spicy tuna on rice cakes pretty much everywhere. There are not enough rice cakes up north!
