vintage dress, belt, and necklace, Jeffrey Campbell clogs
This outfit is my entry for Weardrobe's Time After Time contest. I absolutely love a good competition and will turn the silliest thing into a competition whenever possible. I just love to WIN! Is that wrong?

I'm wearing a silk print dress and belt that belonged to my mother and the costume necklace belonged to my grandmother.

As pretty as this dress is, it does require some cinching which irritates me, so I've been thinking of cutting it and making it into a top...thoughts?
you look amazing, and i cant get over that dress.<3
ReplyDeleteoh this is gorgeous, especially with your hair tied up so neat and pretty in a bun! i love the print. Please don't make it into a top, so pretty as a dress!
ReplyDeleteNot wrong at all girl! the dress is stunning, and your styling is perfect - you've got my vote! :)

I love how you shot this against the white wall.. kind of pink floyd 'the wall' no? And please don't cut the dress! Maybe a little investment with the tailor? If you would wear it more because you'd be more comfortable in it, it'd be so worth it!
ReplyDeletePS: I voted :)

ReplyDeleteI love the pattern of this dress! You should do what you have to do to want to keep it and wear it all the time. Have you thought about just shortening it up a bit instead of making it a top?
ReplyDeletePerfect combination, I would do the same! love the dress colour :)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute outfit, I really love it!

Don't crop it - it's so fun as a dress! Maybe bring it to a tailor to be brought in a bit?
ReplyDeleteDon't cut it! I love it as a dress. The color is gorgeous, and I love the updo. Adorable as always!
