the beat goes on
H&M dress, Jeffrey Campbell clogs
I went to H&M the minute they opened to snag all the pieces from the Garden Collection I've been vying for and I was able to get every piece I wanted. Success! I love this dress. I feel like I should be running barefoot through a wheat field in the country where the sleeves would then magically let me take off in flight. Although, I'm afraid of heights and flying so wearing this on a sunny San Diego day as I am here was probably the better scenario. The cat was a surprise guest star in the photoshoot. Obvs a little attention whore.
I'd also like to thank everyone for the sweet comments/emails/messages. They have been the one little ray of sunshine in an otherwise dark time. That, and the fact that I've been so sick over the situation that I have completely lost my appetite so at the very least I'll come out of this with a hot bod.
The sleeves are pretty fun to play with. I hope you aren't sick of these shoes yet. They go with absolutely everything so I can't really help myself.
Wow sorry to hear about the cheating. thats such a huge bummer... but you know.. the best revenge is lookin fabulous. And you look absolutely amazing here. Love this h&m dress. How could anyone not be happy in it. :)
ReplyDeleteThat dress is so playful and colorful, it looks great with the Jeffrey Campbell clogs - is that the 'Snick' style? You live in one of the most beautiful cities in the world by the way ;) used to live there myself!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry to hear you got cheated on :( I'm glad your loved ones have been so supportive and helping you get through.xo

ReplyDeleteAhh I can't wait for my hair to be long enough for a side braid.. you look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about what happened -- I'm just catching up on your posts. The dress is magical, but I hope you're all right. I'm glad you have supportive people in your life, because this is a situation that is very very very difficult. But, you seem to have a positive attitude, and do know that there are men out there who aren't like this. My mama always said there were two types of men (okay, my mom never said that, but I wish she'd told me): the good ones and the bad ones. The trick is telling them apart :)
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, LOVE the dress. Your hair looks adorable -- so fitting with the outfit! You look gorgeous as always.
ReplyDeletePlease take care of yourself, Heather, and remember how many people you have behind you -- not only your friends and family, but your readers as well :)

You're a strong woman and you will make it out of this better than you went into it. Trust me! It's weird we actually have A LOT in common- I too lost my mom and I totally agree- the pain of a broken heart almost feels worse. I think it's because you know that person is still out there, you just can't have them. Get outside, have some fun, and you'll meet someone that makes you smile in no time.
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous in this dress!
xo!
