put on the red light

These are the pieces I made last weekend for the first round of my new line. The pink howlite necklace is already in my etsy shop  and tonight I'll be adding both red pieces.

I love the complexity of this stone. It reminds me of a piece of granite with its color variations and intricate lines.

{Hadyn meaning "little fire"}

I accented this bold red slice of howlite with a delicate piece of turquoise. I'm a big fan of mixing one bold color with another. You'd be hard pressed to find a bold color that adding a little turquoise doesn't help pop.

I would really like to thank Kathryn of Morning Cloak for featuring my etsy shop on her blog!
She bought the gold vintage ring and described it as "old coral, a sunflare, and space debris all at the same time" and I couldn't agree more. Beautiful pictures and styling Kathryn!
